02 Fall/Winter High School Swimmer Fee
The fee is for High School Swimmers who will also be swimming for their High School during our YMCA Fall/Winter Swim Team season. We realize that while our high school swimmers wish to stay with us, that during their high school swim season, realistically they will be unable to attend most of our practices due to high school team practices, meets & of course, homework…
So, we have created this high school fee to allow them to practice full time with us until the middle of November when mandatory high school practices begin & then again after their high school season had concluded. During their high school season, they WILL still be able to attend 1-2 practices per week when able, plus they will be able to attend all of our YMCA meets as their schedules permit.
We do wish to remind our swimmers that in order to be able to attend our YMCA League Championships, they do need to represent our YMCA in a minimum of two YMCA Penn Del League meets during this season. In order to compete at YMCA Districts, States or Nationals, they do need to:
- Be a full priviledge Member of our YMCA for at least 90 days prior to the meet they are attending
- Make the Qualifying time in the events they wish to swim for the meet they wish to attend.
- Represent our YMCA in a minimum of three (3) YMCA closed meets during this season. (a closed meet means that only YMCA’s are participating in the meet. If they attend 3 league meets they are good. If they attend 2 league meets & an invitational that ONLY YMCA’s are invited to attend, then they are good. If they swim in 2 league dual meets plus our league championship they are good…)
