SPECIAL EVENTS AT THE GREATER SCRANTON YMCA
The Greater Scranton YMCA is proud to host community events throughout the year! Events include the Valentine Sweetheart Dance, Easter Party, Healthy Kids Day, Halloween Party, Senior Health Fair, Christmas Party and more!

Join the Greater Scranton YMCA for the 4th Annual Atty. Harry P. McGrath Memorial Golf Tournament and Dinner Celebration! This year’s event will be held on Friday, September 15th at Glen Oak Country Club.
Harry McGrath was a proud member of the Greater Scranton YMCA. He specialized in education law, advocating for the rights of all students, particularly those with special needs. It became his passion to improve the quality of education for children in NEPA.
Proceeds from the tournament will fund the Greater Scranton YMCA’s Summer Learning Loss Prevention Program, Summer Scholars, through literacy instruction, enrichment activities and positive youth development opportunities.
