The Greater Scranton YMCA is proud to host community events throughout the year! Events include the Valentine Sweetheart Dance, Easter Party, Healthy Kids Day, Halloween Party, Senior Health Fair, Christmas Party and more!

*Winter 2026 Clothing Drive – The Greater Scranton YMCA is hosting a winter clothing drive! Donations of men’s, women’s, children’s, and infant’s clothing will be accepted from January 5-7, 2026. Clothing will be available for community members to pick-up from January 12-14, 2026. New and gently used clothing for all ages and in all sizes will be accepted! Questions? *2026 Indoor Triathlon – RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 1ST! Register online. For questions, contact Leslie Kopa, Aquatics Director, at [email protected].

*2026 Valentine Sweetheart Dance – Friday, February 6th, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Enjoy an evening of dancing, music, refreshments and fun with that special adult in your life! Each couple will receive a special keepsake photo. The event is limited to the first 200 children registered. Registration will close on February 5th.

*2026 Healthy Kids Day – Saturday, May 2nd, 10:00am-1:00 p.m. The Greater Scranton YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day® event will feature activities that range from face painting and rides to a vendor fair and photo booth. All activities are designed to inspire kids to get active while teaching families how to develop routines that support mental and physical health at home. The event is free and open to the community. Registration is not required.
