Matt MaCart is the After School, Summer Camp and Youth Program Director here at the Greater Scranton YMCA!
Matt attended Bishop Hannon High School and the Pennsylvania State University, earning a degree in Human Development and Family Studies.
Matt’s passion for sports is longstanding. His parents and siblings are all athletes. In high school, Matt played basketball and baseball and participated in the drama club and student council. In college, he played tennis and basketball and post college, he played semi-professional basketball in England in the National Basketball League from 2015-2018.
Matt is a former member of the United States Tennis Association and former high school basketball referee. He will achieve his golf teaching certificate in April.
